Salt-Peter and the Philosopher's Stone

A tile based puzzle stealth game about an alchemist that got robbed his precious philosopher's stone amongst other useful magical items and has to get them back from the shadow world.

I directed the project and designed all the aspects of the game, including: the 12 puzzle levels, the skill system with 5 unique habilities, the enemy behaviour, the progression system and more.

Even though the puzzle levels could benefit from further iteration, the outcome was better than expected. Throughout the process, I significantly improved my skills in designing puzzle systems and player abilities by creating challenges that complement the core mechanics of the game.

It was our entry to the "Pirate Software 15th game-jam", and we ended getting a 5/5 rating in all the categories.
